HUTCHINSON SCHOOL–  Valentine’s Day for Vets is happening now in Hutchinson! The concept is that on Valentine’s Day, we deliver letters to the veterans that served for our country, and we say thanks.

DL states, “I like Valentine’s Day for Vets, and it’s a nice thing to do for our vets.”

SL comments, “Valentine’s Day for Vets is a nice thing because you can make it a day for veterans, and I like the idea of it.”

EC says, “I think it’s good that we’re able to get in contact with out vets that served our country and risked their lives for others.”

Ms. Gentile, a 5th grade teacher and the Student Government advisor, is the one that hosts Valentine’s Day for Vets every year. Student government students make letters and posters, and you can, too.  Doing so will make a veteran feel better, or make him or her feel good. Thank you, veterans!
