BRONX ZOO, BRONX, NY– On February 27 the 5th graders of Hutchinson Elementary School went to the Bronx Zoo.

They saw multiple different animals, such as spiders, Fenian Fox, box turtle, and sea lions.

“I love how they are trying to save animals who are going extinct,” commented SP.

“I like how the units we study in class come to life at the zoo,” said Ms. Buzin.

“I liked when we saw the sea lions and they made funny noises,” shared JW.

Students went to the zoo classrooms and learned about some endangered species.

Many people loved watching the baby birds and the stork.
