An Epic Musical: Streaming Now!

MUSIC STREAMING PLATFORMS– Have you heard of The Odyssey? It is a book written by an ancient Greek poet named Homer. Recently a man named Jorge Rivera-Herrans wrote a musical about it.

This musical is called “Epic The Musical,” though this really isn’t actually a musical. It’s a whole bunch of concept albums he wrote. Some people in this are Rivera-Herrans himself, playing Odysseus, and other people, like Steven Dookie and Mason Olshavsky, playing other characters.

Fellow news reporter MY says, “I think ‘Epic’ is a cool idea for someone to come up with, and being able to sing for a long period of time without speaking is so cool!”

OG says, “I think it’s a very exciting sounding musical.”

Some exciting news is that Rivera-Herrans is actively dropping merch! He has so far made records for each concept album and he has made plushies of the lotus eaters from Polyphemus’s island.

Right now he is working on a musical about The Iliad, another book written by Homer. But who knows, maybe you’ll hear about that soon!
