HUTCHINSON SCHOOL– Have you ever been to a rainforest? Do you know what a rainforest is?

A rainforest is a big forest located in the rainiest parts in some of the continents.  The rainforest is home to many animals and living things.

3rd grader Jackie Pennetta said, “My favorite thing about the rainforest is that there are so many living things, like the animals.”

4th grader Julia Scotto said, “My favorite thing about the rainforest is all the animals, like the tropical birds.”

The rainforest produces 28% of the oxygen we breathe each day.

The 3rd graders are learning about the rainforest and are learning how important it is for us.
