Elf on the Shelf

WORLDWIDE–Have you ever wondered how Santa finds out who’s naughty and who’s nice?  He has elves who go to boys’ and girls’ houses.  These elves are called Elf on the Shelf.

To get one, you have to wish for it.  If you get one, you have to know the rule.  The rule is you can’t touch it.  If you do, it loses its powers and can’t report to Santa.  You get to name it, too!

4th grader Courtney Valente said, “My elf’s name is Bob, and I like him because he does lots of funny things.”

Every morning they hide somewhere and you have to find them.  They can hide in many places.  It’s like a game of hide-and-seek.

3rd grader Francesca Ripoll said, “My elf goes on my tree and on my cabinet.”

In December, when your elf comes, remember to be good.  Merry Christmas!
