NEW YORK– Hockey is back!

The two New York hockey teams in the NHL (National Hockey League) are the Rangers and Islanders.

Last year I went to a Rangers and Islanders game.  The Rangers won 8 to 6.

“I like the Rangers,” says 3rd grader Giana Pizzutiello.

“I like the Rangers,” says 5th grader Christopher Ripoll.

My favorite player is Lundqvist.  He is number 30.  Lundqvist is the goalie, and he is great!

Another exciting hockey season has begun!
