HUTCHINSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL– One of our three fifth grade classes in Hutchinson Elementary School has recently performed at a Town Hall Meeting. Class 5S did an amazing job putting on the play, “Mean Jean, The Recess Queen.”

This play was about a girl named Mean Jean. This kid ruled the playground. The message 5S tried to get across while putting on the play was that including people can change the way those people act.

C.B. said, “I loved being Katie Sue because I was making people laugh and teaching them a lesson at the same time!”

S.P. replied, “My favorite part of the play was when when Katie Sue and Mean Jean became friends.”

L.C. commented, “My favorite part was when Mean Jean made a new friend.”
