There’s a movie called “Splash.”  It is not a new movie; it is very old. I have watched it with my whole family.

It is basically about a mermaid and man falling in love, a little like “The Little Mermaid,” so I am going to ask people if they think mermaids are real.

“I think mermaids are the very best thing on Earth.  I love them all!” said 3rd grader, Jewel Dalley.

When asked what she thinks of men and mermaids falling in love, 3rd grader Eleanor Ricci said, “So mushy!”

I thought so, too!
