HUTCHINSON SCHOOL–  This year, the fifth graders watched a movie called “Mad Hot Ballroom” because fifth graders will soon be doing a ballroom dancing program! The movie is about six schools competing in a Ballroom competition.

Each school has a color of the rainbow and has two dances to do. The best team wins the giant trophy that’s bigger than them.

“I thought the movie was really interesting, but it was kind of inappropriate in some parts,” L.C. comments.

All the teams had eight weeks to do the best they could until the competition. The indigo team won and won the giant trophy. The students all cheered for the indigo team while watching the movie.
