The Gift Drive
HUTCHINSON SCHOOL– This holiday season, Student Government is doing a gift drive!
The gift drive is a program where you donate a gift for kids who don’t have any money or homes. You can donate pajamas and toys but they’re only accepting new toys and pajamas. It started on December 3rd and ended the 10th.
“I think it’s really good that Student Government is collecting gifts for kids in need, because they might not have money to buy gifts.” KS explained.
“I think it’s really great that Student Government is doing a gift drive for kids who don’t have anything,” NP said.
The kids in Student Government and Mrs. Gentile loaded the van took the gifts to the shelter so kids can enjoy them, too. They took the gifts to the shelter on Christmas Eve.
Student Government hopes you get why they’re so involved in this project, and they hope you spread the gift of love, too.
