5S Goes to the Animal Shelter
HUTCHINSON SCHOOL– On Monday April 30th, Ms. Soccodato’s fifth grade class went to the Mount Vernon animal shelter. We got to see many cats and dogs. We went to the animal shelter to deliver all the food and supplies from the shelter drive. Many kids went to the animal shelter.
LO shared, “I think that it was a very powerful experience.”
LF explained, “I liked going into the dog room.”
AW said, “I liked how we got to see the animals, and they were very cute.”
NS shared, “I think it was a powerful experience to see animals in the shelter and their living conditions, and it felt nice to help.”
5S loved going and helping the animals.
