“PADI” Project!

HUTCHINSON SCHOOL– 5th grade has started a new project, both in library and in ELA class, which is called, “PADI”, or “MAC”.

In library, we chose our top 5 activists that we thought influenced change. Then, Ms. Sullivan picked out one of the activists we chose.  One example is John Muir, a conservationist who fought for environmental changes and helped develop Yosemite National Park.

LO comments, “I think that it was very fun to learn about the history of famous people who influenced change.”

DL states, “I really liked learning about people who made a difference.”

SL says, “I think it was fun to do it.”

Personally, it was a very fun and exciting project to do, and hopefully all of 5th graders enjoyed it.
