Bracelets!

HUTCHINSON SCHOOL– A new thing started in Hutchinson School! They’re called bracelets. Here’s an example. If your class is following the B.E.A.R. rules or walking silently in the hallway and a teacher spots you, your class will get a bracelet!

I know what you’re thinking: Bracelets are boring! Why should we work so hard to get one? Well, you haven’t seen anything yet. If your class gets 10 bracelets, you have a huge variety of choices for prizes such as a movie, game day, or 20 minutes of extra recess!

“I think it’s a good way to get your class to behave and listen,” IH comments.

“I think the bracelets are rewarding because it’s not just one kid getting a bracelet; the whole class has to earn it. Although, it’s also kind of unfair because one person can ruin it for everybody,” EC added.

Personally for me, I think bracelets are also good. But some classes could be behaving, but teachers don’t notice them!

SL says, “I think it’s amazing because you get a big reward!”
