5th Graders go to Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, PA — On May 11, 2017 Hutchinson 5th graders went to Philadelphia.
First they went on a walking tour with their classes to see things such as Independence Hall, The Second National Bank, and a Quaker schoolhouse. Then they ate lunch in a beautiful park. Next they went to a show and the gift shop. Finally, for their last site, they went to the National Liberty Museum. They ended with eating at the awesome Hard Rock Cafe.
“My favorite thing was the show that talked about We The People,” commented CJ Fay.
“In all the years of going to Philadelphia, the National Liberty Museum was my favorite,” replied awesome former principal, Mrs. Tarazi.
“I cannot wait to go on that trip when I am in 5th grade,” added Malia Otondi.
More than half of the fifth graders said this was their favorite trip, and I agree with them! If you are going to be in fifth grade soon, look forward to this!
It was awesome!
