The Third Grade Culture Project
HUTCHINSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL– The third graders in Hutchinson Elementary School have been working hard on a culture project. You have to pick a holiday and pick a culture that celebrates that holiday.
This is a good time for kids to open up about their culture. During this project, kids get to stand up and present their projects. They are graded 50% on their presentation and 50% on how it looks.
Delia Lavallee shared, “I think it was very cool that different people get to share about their cultures.”
Olivia Medrano said, “I think it was very fun to learn about other people’s cultures.”
On the poster board, kids added two paragraphs about the holiday and drew two symbols to represent the holiday. They included one map, a paragraph about the map, a paragraph about where the country is located on the map, and the hemisphere the country is in.
The project is located on the first, second and third grade floor in Hutchinson Elementary School. Go look at the projects now!
