PELHAM MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL- -In Pelham something very special will be going on in a couple of months. Pelham Children’s Theatre (PCT) will be putting on a production of “Grease”! It’s a fun show with lots of singing and dancing!
5th and 6th graders are allowed to participate. This performance will be performed at Pelham Memorial High school. Keep in mind that the kids who are performing in the show put a lot of time and effort into rehearsal, so make sure to show respect by clapping. Also if you are in the play, all the roles matter; if you get a small role, it’s okay!
“I’m auditioning for ‘Grease.’ It is my first play and I am kind of nervous,” JN reported.
“It’s a little scary, but I think right now I’m excited for this Friday because we find out what role we get,” CA commented.
“I love all the songs from ‘Grease’!” Hutchinson teacher, Ms. Buzin, added.
“Grease” is a very musical show. It is also very upbeat. If you love the 1978 movie, you will really love Pelham’s version. Even though “Grease” was filmed in ’78, it takes place in the ’50s. If you want to relive the magic, come and see it!
“Grease” is a show that is a great movie/musical that has so many roles. Hopefully you come and see it.
