HUTCHINSON SCHOOL– You should read a lot because if you are in the Hutchinson School, there is a competition. It’s called the Read-A-Thon.
Read-A-Thon is when students have to read a lot of books so they can win, or their class can win, or both. Students want to win because then they can get a prize for winning.
LU replied, “I like the Read-A-Thon because when you win it, it makes me feel proud and happy.”
SC shared, “I like the Read-A-Thon because it pushes you to read so much and you can win a prize.”
SY stated, “I like the Read-A-Thon because my class always likes to win when the Read-A-Thon is here.”
You should read a lot of books when your school has a Read-A-Thon, so then you can win a lot of prizes or your class can win. One example is having more time for outdoor recess if your class wins.
