5th Grade St. Paul’s Cathedral Trip

MT. VERNON, NY– This year, 5th graders of Hutchinson School took a trip to St Paul’s Church! Everyone thought it was a really fun place to visit!

The fifth graders went on a trip there last year in 4th grade! Students went inside the church and they talked about the people who lived thousands of years ago. It was built in 1759.  Some children got to ring the bell at the church when it got to the 12:00 hour.

LC commented, “I think it was cool learning about the people who lived before we were born.”

Last year when we went to the church, a boy named EM got to ring the bell. It was cool. It was really fun doing a hunt and the mystery word was “historic.”

The field trip was so much fun! It was cool learning about thousands of years ago!
